Devang and hethel came along for first time to attend IKF Ahmdabad and they stayed in the same hotel as we are.  During the discussion devang tells me about his invention that he had developed to fly kites. He demonstrated his invention that was made on pipe and motor with winder letting the thread move out and thread roll back by the help of a switch in the console he made. It is a hand held operating system to stand ably fly small kites. The weight matters here and kind of kite we fly cant withstand considering struness of the kite be it little above 50 kilos or giant kites for example. Its an intersting outfit for sure for the small kites. We congratulate the team and wish him all the success.

Film actor sanjay suri was seen with his vlogging on the ground. The day he came was little bit late i said,  however,  to the interactions he made with me and other club members perhaps he was content having knowing the conventional kite and kites that are innovative in nature and with its flying dynamics.  Traditional kiting in which the talk went on adding to the point accentuted by the senior kiters affirms that should not be let out or sidelined keeping in view indias tradition. The great demand in show kiting is getting dearer to the kiters as well spectators in the wake of the carnage caused by manjha. The flying kites on manjha is banned and the invasion of chinease thread like a filament thread stood for many reasons a culprit of all and a serious threat to the heritage of patang baz kiting in india. My beloved friend and sis Helmi ginanti from bali came this time with her husband bhagush narendra and bro in law bhagush ida kusuma. Kusuma is an artist and he drew a picture of mine. I am seen more younger.... many says.. incluisng my daughter and wife. hmmm however i like it. Bhagush is a gifted artist and all best compliments to him.God bless him.

I was in ahmdabad for the kite festival in its 31st edition.  Organized by TCGL, the tourism body of Govt of Gujarat,  there were 40 countries and 20 states came united to present their kites exhibited in flying and performances.  Like every year the groups formed already towards covering various destination promotion program and event.  I,  this time too had my mind prepared for Ahmdabad as to let myself enjoy the city and fly my kites on the ground.  Sabarmati river front as it is fondly called had close to 50 odd kiters from day one it began.  Leaving the hotel at about 9 in the morning and return by 4.30 pm. A routine continued until 11th and 12th Jan,  we had a travel plan to Mehsana,  70 km away from Ahmedabad.  Kiters always wanted gopd wind not turbulance or rotating wind and Ahmdabad falls with such in many conditions. The wind we had last year 2019,  the kites brought by every kiters have flown and with this instances,  i had some miscalculations but failed to get wind
