Malabar Kite Festival Bekal Fort Kanghangad, Kerala 5_6_7 2017

Malabar Kite Festival 2017 concluded with it's 3 day fill spectrum of entertainment that include various cultural programs other than the main theme being Kite Festival. No of teams flocked in  from different parts of India. Kite Life Foundation India represented by Rajesh Nair along with team mates Sandesh Kaddi, Suhas LM & MuniRaju , and a kite club from Calicut and Indonesia kite museum headed by Endang Ernawati. kites from Gujurat was represented by Mehul Pathak.

Festival witnessed a large gathering of people at Bekal Beach park and, the main venue of events. The entire district found to be enthralled with the series of programme that concluded by a musical orhestra.

Kites of various shapes and colors was the people attraction remain the reckoner and Sunday being the day it showed that hope people taken it up close to their heart. Indeed a visual feasta.

Organisers are in state of mind to conduct in the larger spectrum  in the coming years after having seen it's went awsum.

On the sidelines of the kite festival, the kiters were taken to visit The prominent Bekal Fort, which is overlooked by the Arabian sea which once lived by none other than Tippu Sultan. This was a great experience as well and the first are given a face lift utilising the areas of fort offering fresh picnic spot for families and kids alike. The footfalls have been increased, as far as report goes.
We are happy being part of the fest with our kites souring in the sky.

K take this opportunity to thank my team mates and organisers to have conducted a wonderful show. Few short comings that were negligible though need to get improvised with Meticulous planning and strategy that's works for kiters and organisers.
